Job Summary:

The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing

process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation while meeting competently all safe

expectations of a nurse.

Training and Experience:

Current RN License

Current BLS Provider

Preferred: Acute hospital experience

Unit Specific Requirements

ACLS: Required

BCLS: Required

Training and/or experience:

Current Critical Care or Telemetry course preferred or equivalent knowledge and skills validated by demonstration.

Previous Telemetry, DOU experience preferred.

Hemodynamics

Temporary Pacemaker Management

Chest Tube Management

ACT Testing

Accu-Check

AV Sheath Removal

Central Line Removal
