Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) OR, Inpatient Floor, and Outpatient (Urologic Oncology Service)
We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Urologic Oncology Surgical service. This APP will work in the operating room in addition to the inpatient and outpatient settings.
We Are: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will join a team of over 800 NPs and PAs across MSK who are dedicated to delivering compassionate, expert and comprehensive cancer care to patients and families, supporting the mission, philosophy, standards, goals and objectives of the institution and department.

You Will: Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and other healthcare team members Provide comprehensive care to the Urologic Oncology Surgical patients Meet the medical needs of patients Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum
Qualifications needed for a PA candidate are: Graduate from an accredited PA program NCCPA certification Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure A minimum of 1 year of OR and Inpatient related clinical experience is preferred but motivated and interested new graduates are encouraged to apply
Qualifications needed for an NP candidate are: Current New York State (NYS) RNFA and NP licenses/registrations Masters degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility) Related National NP certification A minimum of 1 year of OR and inpatient related clinical experience is preferred but motivated and interested new graduates are encouraged to apply
Hours: 4 Days flexed days and hours Sunday - Saturday
Mandatory weekend and holiday rotation
