Vail Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Urology Nurse to join our dynamic team in Avon, Colorado. As a Urology Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to patients with urological conditions. You will collaborate closely with healthcare providers to assist in patient assessments, procedures, and education, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist urology providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Educate patients on urological health, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with urology nursing practices.

What you will need:
Experience:
2 years experience with applicable patient care and administrative duties preferred.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology, medical equipment, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations.
License(s):
State of Colorado Registered Nurse or valid compact state license required
Certification(s):
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Computer / Typing:
Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
