The community you’ll be caring for:AdventHealth Riverview
·AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024. ·The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future. ·This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care. ·AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women’s care.
The role you’ll contribute:
The interventional technologist is a vital member of a multidisciplinary team consisting of interventional radiologists, nurses and technologists. Interventional technology procedures consist of diagnostic angiography, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
•Resolves customer service issues in a timely, courteous and efficient manner.
oWhen function is achieved with minimal (less than 10%) customer complaints.
oAppropriate management of issues that did occur.
oInforming supervisor of any unresolved or resolved issues with patient satisfaction.
•Demonstrates proficiency in performing technical Imaging procedures on all patient age groups and ability to teach the same.
oAble to perform patient care independently on patients of all groups.
•Provides imaging procedures to all patients, regardless of age, race or sex
oNever refuses to provide any patient with efficient and courteous care
•Technologist is proficient on the use of their specific imaging equipment and the department's policies and procedures
oIndependently operate imaging equipment in a safe and proper fashion
•Demonstrates effective communication skills with all staff, patients, families and Imaging services administration

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•High School Diploma or GED upon hire
•Diploma from an approved school of Radiologic Technology upon hire
•Two years’ experience as a Registered Radiological Technologist
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
•Associates Degree
•1 Year Interventional Experience
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
•Current ARRT certification upon hire
•Current Florida State license in Radiologic Technology upon hire
•Basic Life Support Certification upon hire
