SUMMARY: You will provide expert post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from a diverse range of procedures. From quick outpatient surgeries to complex, high-risk cases, our PACU nurses are vital in ensuring patients smooth recovery and safe transition to their next phase of carewhether its inpatient, outpatient discharge, or critical care.Work with a wide range of acuity and procedures, including gynecology, urology, vascular, cardiac, pulmonary, trauma, orthopedics, plastics, neurosurgery, gastroenterology, and interventional radiology. SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department director/charge nurse, provides care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. EXPERIENCE: One year critical care or PACU experience SPECIAL SKILLS: Hemodynamics, phlebotomy and airway management OTHER: Basic computer skills LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Nursing
